ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL / MECHANICAL/ HVAC

Principal Duties

·         Receives instructions from, and works under the supervision of the SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer

·         Acts as discipline engineer in the design of commercial, light industrial, institutional and residential facilities

·         Determines design requirements for electrical, mechanical or HVAC systems as applicable.

·         Inspects existing system, determines condition of existing system, determines condition of existing systems, and verifies record drawings for accuracy. Performs tests and troubleshooting analyzes of existing systems.

·         Lays out plan and detail drawings for development by draftsman

·         Indentifies standard details and develops new details required

·         Uses computer to run standard programs n order to solve engineering problems as required

·         Electrical engineer prepares for checking by the SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer load calculations as required for determining power requirements, service requirements, cable and conduct sizes, illumination levels, lighting design and voltage drops; Prepares design for communications systems; sketches circuit and schematic wiring diagrams for drafting by the design draftsman; and assists SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer to identify other necessary design elements to comply with code and other requirement.

·         Mechanical engineer prepares for checking by the SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer load calculations as required for determining water and effluent flows, and pipe sizes; sketches riser diagrams and other plumbing drawing for drafting by the design draftsman; lays out fixtures and pipe runs, and assists SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer to identify other necessary design elements to comply with code and other requirement.

·         HVAC engineer prepares for checking by the SAUDI ARAMCO Project Engineer thermal load calculations, determines ventilation and all quality requirements, and sizes equipment, lays out all necessary systems and planning projects related to commercial, light industrial, institutional, and residential facilities.  

Minimum Qualifications 

·         Shall have experience as Project Design Head for at least two (2) of ten (10) years specified above preference will be given for experience with computer programs related to discipline. 

·         Shall be able o produce Electrical/Mechanical designs and load analysis for residential and commercial structures

·         Well versed with the National Electric Codes (NEC)/Uniform Mechanical Code/ASHRAE/Uniform Plumbing Code/Uniform Fire Code and other U.S. or European building codes.

·         HVAC Engineer shall be competent and qualified to make cooling/heating calculations, psychometric analysis, design air distribution and piping system, sizing and selecting equipment, and developing control schemes. 

·         HVAC Engineer shall be fully conversant with ASHRAE SAUDI ARAMCO’s G.I. #425-000 (Refrigerant Management) and other HVAC industrial standards.HVAC Engineer shall be able to use computer and HVAC application software programs and shall be knowledgeable in balancing air distribution and interpreting reports. 

·         HVAC Engineer shall possess acknowledge of HVAC systems instruments and controls. Apply with complete Bio – Data, only if you have the required qualifications and experience.
